'Flourish' 8" x 8" acrylic on deep edge canvas

Every once in a while I like to hone in on the flowers within the wider landscape.  This painting captures the sense of the spring roses and greens at their peak.  I used layers of acrylic paint to build the scene.  The deep set canvas allows an opportunity to keep going, letting the chaos spill out and overflow onto the edges.
